At home with my mom and dad…

After covering the Democratic National Convention in Denver for the Rocky Mountain News the end of August, I My father's cane sits unused in the hallway.Dad struggles to get out of his office chair with the help of his physcial therapist.brought my two-year-old Theo home to see my mom and dad in Richardson, TX.  It is great to see my family, but my father seems to be declining rapidly.  He is so happy to see Theo, as is my mother.  I am really happy that I was able to get married and bring Peter, my husband, Hans, my stepson and now TheoMy father's physical therapist tries to get him to move his leg.Dad rests in his recliner while his physical therapist tries to get him to try and stand upDad uses his file cabinet to steady himself while he tries to get back to his office chair.into his life before he moves on.

    beautiful photos of your dad, judy. and it was so good he got to spend time with theo. my mom and in-laws are really loving it that we have our girls back in the states now. (they had taken multiple trips to pakistan and egypt already to see them). perpignan was fantastic. see you soon!

    A blessing to see your family through your eye. The photos are typically Judy-amazing. The writing is honest and touching. My prayers around your father’s health and you dealing with it.
